John Cavaseno (he/him) is a NYC based theatre artist from Long Island. He's a graduate of both the SUNY Cortland Musical Theatre and the Broadway Dance Center Professional Semester training programs.
John began performing in the 4th grade with his elementary school's production of Annie and truly fell in love with the art form.
During his summers in college and post graduating John has worked at many regional theaters, including Arizona Broadway Theatre, The Palace Theatre, Cortland Rep, The Fireside Theatre, and Slow Burn Theatre Co.
In addition to performing, John's also been studying Stage Combat since high school and has been Fight Captain on four professional productions. He's also directed two full-length plays at Cortland High School, choreographed several pieces for the SUNY Cortland Dance Demo, and taught various musical theatre master classes.
During his time in NYC, between contracts, John enjoys continuing his training with classes at New York Combat For Stage & Screen, Broadway Dance Center, HB Studios, Steps, and studying stage intimacy with Intimacy Coordinator Of Color (where he is a certified Intimacy Captain).
Thank you for checking out my website! I look forward to us hopefully working together in the future. Collaboration is essential to story telling and I truly believe all aspects of a production deserve respect, attention, and appreciation.
